Emily Julstroms Still Lifes

One Artists approach to Figure Drawing has me really intrigued. Emily Julstroms method of layering different colour pencils and shading producing sketches that have an extremely 3D appearance. I want to really try and bring this look into my own work and if I can get close to producing work to the same quality and time frame as these 10 minute studies I would be very happy. Drawing the human figure in more tangible forms like this will definitely help with creating characters which are more cartoonish and simplified in appearance.
